Surly Long Haul Trucker just about done….she is rideable now. picture kinda sucks but the sun wasn’t out and it is raining, so the nice pictures will have to wait till next week.
Please welcome the newest member of my family.
Surly Long Haul Trucker. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time yesterday. The price was too good to refuse and the size was right, I had to have it. Slept on it, and in the morning, sitting in the dentist chair, the only thing keeping me sane was the thought of this beautiful frame and the potential she had.
Building her up as a 1x7 everyday work horse. 700x32c tires are the goal. I wouldn’t be surprised to see full fenders soon. Eventually, I will be bolting on some racks, attaching a set a panniers, and pedaling off into the distance, maybe for good. Hell that doesn’t sound too bad on this awesome frame.

Went down to Virginia Beach and one night we decided to play Banana Grams. It’s like Scrabble but it comes in a fabric banana with a zipper. We didn’t really play by the rules but we used every pices by the end of the night.
